MBCM Disaster Relief Training

Members of Broadmoor who are interested in partnering with Mississippi Baptist Disaster Relief (MBDR) to help others after a disaster strikes must be trained and credentialed through MBDR. Training sessions will be conducted on Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20. The cost for each participant is $25, which includes lunch and a background check. The fee must be paid by cash or check at registration. See below for the schedule. All training sessions will be in the Venue. Sign up HERE.
Friday
5:30pm – Registration
6:00-10:00pm – Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Ministry (required for all participants)
Saturday
8:00am-4:00pm – Participants will choose one session from the three below. Click here to read the description of each training session.
(1) Chainsaw/Debris Removal
(2) Mass Feeding
(3) Clean Up & Recovery (temporary roofing/blue tarp, flood recovery, and shower/laundry services).
