2024 Short-Term Mission Trips
Local Focus Partners
God's Haven
Serving at-risk families in South Jackson, God’s Haven disciples kids and teens and offers a Bible study for single mothers. Volunteer on Monday nights and serve as a teacher, guide, or kitchen worker during God’s Haven’s discipleship program.
In His Steps Ministries
In His Steps Ministries provides afterschool tutoring, a discipleship program, and a sports ministry for youth in Canton, MS. Volunteer as a sports ministry leader, afterschool tutor, devotional leader, or Saturday morning reading assistant.
Jackson Leadership Foundation
Jackson Leadership Foundation fosters spiritual, social, and economic transformation. Their vision is to develop and resource leaders, serve as a volunteer clearinghouse helping to identify and meet hundreds of needs each year, and bring long-term mentoring, tutoring, and ministry to the City of Jackson.
MadCAAP
MadCAAP is serving families living in the Joe Prichard Homes, the largest low-income housing complex in Canton. Help evangelize, disciple, and build relationships with youth and families through VBS-like activities on Saturday afternoons.
Soul City Church
Soul City Church exists to serve the souls of the Midtown neighborhood just west of Millsaps College. Soul City seeks to serve the community first, leading to relationships with neighbors that ultimately point these new friends to Jesus. Soul City started in a house in Midtown and now has a church building and dormitories.
We Will Go
We Will Go serves the community of downtown Jackson through an afterschool program, basketball ministry, clothing closet, community garden, woodworking business, home renovations, and more. Support a missionary family or sign up to serve on Saturday mornings.

Canvas Church Oak Bay
Victoria, British Columbia
Pastor Mike Blackaby
Planted in 2018, Canvas Church’s Oak Bay campus is located in an unreached area of Victoria. Many who show up for services don’t identify as Christians and have never attended church before coming to Canvas.
Encounter Church
Pastor Chris Causey
A new church plant in a white-collar suburb of Boston, Encounter Church is in an area that is home to many Harvard and Yale staff as well as players and coaches with the New England Patriots.
Harvest Church
Pastor Andrew Hanna
Planted in 2021 in the Treme-Lafitte neighborhood of New Orleans, Harvest Church seeks to gather, grow, and go with the Gospel while faithfully serving the city.

Meet our missionaries and partners helping reach the nearly 3 billion people around the world who’ve never heard the gospel.
Tanzania
Broadmoor is partnering with Wycliffe to translate the Bible to reach the Pimbwe, an unreached people group of 70,000. We also send several mission teams each year to share the gospel and help train and disciple new Pimbwe believers to plant churches.
Central Asia
We partner with a team of IMB missionaries to reach Persian immigrants in Central Asia through strategic opportunities such as SD card distribution, sharing the gospel in remote areas, building business-as-mission platforms, and more.
South Asia
FAMM (For All Mankind Movement) exists to disciple, train, and equip new believers to plant churches in South Asia. Broadmoor partners with FAMM and its founder, Kevin Phillips, by providing compassion kits that meet basic needs and open the door to share the gospel.
Central and South America
Broadmoor partners with Floyd VanDeburgh, Latin America Director for Strategic Impact International, a movement of like-minded leaders committed to fulfilling Jesus’ Great Commission.
Southeast Asia
We partner with an IMB missionary to reach the people of Southeast Asia through strategic opportunities such as water filter distribution, sharing the gospel in remote areas, building business-as-mission platforms, and more.

Broadmoor’s Missions Giving Strategy
Our missions giving strategy involves three components:
The Cooperative Program
Through the Cooperative Program, Broadmoor gives a percentage of your generosity to our state convention, which then channels those funds to the Southern Baptist Convention to support missions and missionaries around the world.
Broadmoor Missions and Focus Partners
In addition to prayer and sending short-term teams, we financially support our local, national, and global Focus Partners out of the Broadmoor missions budget.
